CBR Industries offers a number of Mori Seiki and Excel CNC vertical machining center's that can handle almost any part you need. Similar to the horizontal machining the vertical milling process uses a rotating bit to remove material from a solid block of material in any shape. Vertical milling offers us another manufacturing option to provide you the highest quality parts available.

Excel PMC5VT20 CNC Vertical Milling Machine	The PMC5VT20 is suited to efficient production, high spindle speed, fast rapids and rapid tool changes make this machine fast and efficient. The PMC has travels of 20x16x18 and a 21 tool capacity. A double-arm tool changer switches tools in 1.5 seconds with chip to chip times around 3 seconds. Tool selection is both random and bi-directional. The PMC is also equipped with a Renishaw TS27R probe. The probe is used for tool setup and in process tool breakage detection.
Excel 810-T24 CNC Vertical Milling Machine	The 810-T24 is a larger machine than the PMC5VT20. The 810-T24 has travels of 32x20x22 and a 25 tool capacity. A double-arm tool changer switches tools in 2 seconds with chip to chip times around 4 seconds. Tool selection is both random and bi-directional. The 810-T24 is also equipped with a Renishaw TS27R probe.
